The following terms and conditions govern the use of the MeEx Courier service. Use of our service constitutes full acceptance of all terms listed herein. These terms may be updated from time to time without notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to stay informed of the current terms and conditions of service.
By using our service, you agree to these terms and conditions as a sender, and they become enforceable on behalf of the receiver as well.
Customer: Any person or business using MeEx services, either by creating an account, making a booking online via website/app, or by phone.
Sender: The person or business at the pick-up location.
Receiver: The person or business at the delivery location.
Courier: The MeEx rider/driver who performs the pick-up and delivery.
Job: A task from the moment a courier accepts a booking until it is completed or cancelled.
Delivery: The actual item being transported from the sender to the receiver.
MeEx reserves the right to capture photos or video of the designated collection/delivery area (e.g., at your doorstep or office entrance). Media is always captured in public-accessible areas, never inside private property.
Proof of service may include:
Photo evidence
Recipient signature
Notes or instructions provided during the booking process
If there is no answer at the delivery address and no instructions:
The courier will call the receiver. If unreachable, they will attempt to call the sender.
If no contact is made, the courier may leave the item with a neighbour (with signature).
If no neighbour is available, the parcel will return to the sender and return charges will apply.
If a payment fails or is reversed, MeEx reserves the right to suspend or deactivate the customer’s account until payment is received.
Delayed payments exceeding 30 days may incur a late payment fee.
Bookings made through the MeEx platform appoint MeEx as an agent on behalf of the courier.
Receipts are available via the MeEx app or client dashboard.
All claims related to delivery issues must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the incident.
Couriers may cancel a job for the following reasons:
Fragile, wet, flammable, or unsafe items
Inaccessibility or no one at location
Inability to reach the customer
Any reason affecting timely or safe delivery
If you cancel the job after the courier is en route, a cancellation fee applies.
MeEx reserves the right to apply a waiting time charge if the item is not ready upon arrival or if there are avoidable delays at collection or delivery points.
ETAs provided via website, app, or phone are estimates only. While MeEx strives to deliver on time, it is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen factors.
MeEx is not liable for deliveries involving:
Hazardous or flammable substances
Items exceeding a value of €100 without prior declaration
Illegal goods or contraband
Fragile items not packed securely
Unwrapped or poorly packaged goods
Cash, cheques, gift cards, or non-physical assets
MeEx reserves the right to inspect parcels for safety, legal compliance, or operational reasons.
By using MeEx services, you agree to indemnify MeEx and its employees from any loss or damage arising from:
Inaccurate delivery information
Inadequate packaging
Illegal or non-compliant shipments
Failure to comply with local and EU data protection laws
Lack of proper sender consent for recipient information (e.g., email, phone)
By booking through MeEx, the sender agrees not to engage directly with any MeEx-assigned courier for private deliveries outside the platform. Breach of this clause will result in:
€1,500 compensation for business loss
€1,000 rider retention fee
These terms and all disputes shall be governed by the Laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Limassol.
If any provision of these terms is deemed unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
